About Lippy's Furniture & Antiques

At 'Lippy's Furniture & Antiques' we have bought and sold antiques and collectibles for several years. Kevin Linton is the proprietor and this business is based in the small northern Victorian town of Tatura.

Kevin has collected many of the items himself over a number of years and puts his love of antiques to the fact he has collected such items most of his life, particularly postage stamps. "It is hard to understand why more people do not appreciate well made objects that have stood the test of time" Kevin states.
At Lippy's the philosophy is simple, we want to deal in items that will 'last a number of lifetimes'.

Occasionally an item has been renovated or restored at Lippy's (eg. a chair may have been renovated to make a set complete and then the entire set is reupholstered), but we believe this only adds to the enjoyment of owning such items. Of course we do not attempt to over renovate items as this only reduces their value. Where items such as silverware is re-plated or furniture upholstered, only master craftsmen are used to ensure the best quality of workmanship is used.

Other items that may be of interest to collectors include a number of Japanese Scrowls, jewellery, bronzes and paintings that predate the World War II. These particular items were sourced from a family who lived in Japan during the occupation. Other items of interest include wooden furniture, silverware, jewellery, crockery, glassware, postage stamps, historical books and posters and many other items.
