All of our customers receive our free newsletter with details of special offers and lots of free patterns.
Knitting Yarns by Mail operates from Stokesay Mohair farm, a working angora goat stud at Boolarra South in the beautiful Strzelecki Ranges, Gippsland, Victoria.
As you would expect we are passionate about natural fibres, especially mohair but we also have a soft spot for alpaca, especially the fibre from our own naughty alpaca, Omar. We sometimes have yarn handspun from Omar's fleece available for sale on our website. If you can't find it you can always give us a call to ask when the next batch will be available. Omar also has a few friends that we can call on if supplies are low or if we need extra colours.
While you're on the phone don't forget to ask for a copy of our free knitting yarns and patterns catalogue. Hopefully you'll find lots of inspiration there.
We are proud of the yarn selection we offer. Great brands, great yarns and competitive prices.
All of our yarns are in stock so there's no waiting.
No nasty surprises on postage either. We offer flat rate postage of $8.00 on all orders, any weight, any where, Australia wide.
Make Knitting Yarns by Mail your one stop shop for all things knitting. (more)
Knitting yarns by Mail specialises in natural fibre yarns including silk, cashmere, alpaca, wool (including lambswool and merino), cotton (including organic cotton), mohair, bamboo and exotic blends. We also stock a large range of sock yarns, including Heirloom Jigsaw and Patons Patonyle.
