About

Acumen is a small business of two partners, Matt McAuliffe and Shannon McGann. Together they have a combined building experience of over 30 years. They are licensed builders and carpenters, members of the HIA and MBA and both expect a high standard of workmanship and will only engage fully qualified and experienced trades people on all their projects.

Matt and Shannon do the majority of the work, engaging reputable contractors when necessary. As a result they only take on a limited number of contracts at any given time so that one of them is always on site guaranteeing the quality of the project.

Acumen can work within accordance of supplied plans or they can organise their own team of designers to come up with a plan that will meet your design requirements and building budget.
