About
Dance classes for children and adults. Children may take classes in styles of Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Tap, Song & Dance. They have the option of sitting for annual exams, dancing at competitions, and taking part of annual dance concert. Ballets staged in the past have been: Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, The Nutcracker, Peter and the wolf, Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, just to mention a few. Adults have the chance of making new friends in taking dance classes in the style of Latin American plus more. No partner required. Dance classes are suited for both beginners and more advanced. Lots of fun. Social dancing Friday nights from 8pm. The studio is perfectly designed with lots of parking. All enquiries are always welcome. Ms Rolande Hooklyn, owner / director of the Sapphire City Dance Academy is a well respected citizen of the community and possesses a great knowledge of teaching dance. Many of her ex students have professions in dance, such as professional dancers and dance teachers. (more)

We specialise in providing a service which will last a lifetime. Our aim is to make each class most enjoyable whilst focussing on the safety of all dancers through 'safe dance'. Encouragement, Respect, Self-esteem are practiced on a daily basis. We enjoy working with all who wish to take up dance classes, whether this choice is simply for enjoyment, or looking for a career as a professional dancer or dance teacher. We keep in mind each one of us is an individual and train our dancers accordingly.
