Founded in 2004 Momentum Dance Studios is a recreational dance school that provides high quality dance education for children in a friendly, professional environment.
The founders of Momentum Dance Studios are Belinda Fenech and Natasha Swan, graduates from the University of New South Wales dance education degree. They have extensive professional experience in Australia and the United Kingdom and are passionate educators, practitioners and creators of dance.
Their philosophy in dance education is refreshing. Students and teachers are encouraged to create a supportive and positive environment for learning, creating and performing dance as an art form and for enjoyment. Male dancers are actively encouraged through specialist classes and welcome in all other classes that are available.
Special care is taken by the founders to select professionally trained teachers. Momentum?s teachers currently work in performing arts education and the performing arts industry, bringing up to date knowledge and fresh ideas to pass on to our students. In addition, all teachers are security checked and hold Working With Children Certificates for your peace of mind.
Momentum is an inspiring place to learn and practice dance.
Classes operate on Saturdays during school terms at both studios in UNSW Kensington and Balcombe Heights Estate in Baulkham Hills. A wide range of classes are available to both boys and girls in: Tap, Jazz Funk, Ballet RAD, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Tiny Tots, Kids Combo and performance opportunities in professional theatres.
