About
DraftStar run two and three day footy camps for kids, across Australia. Our coaching encourages, inspires and develops all levels of ability, and is conducted by current and ex-AFL players and coaches.
As well as the camps, DraftStar camp attendees have membership of a high performance website that displays and compares athlete results.
DraftStar camps cover skills and training, as well as nutritional, motivational and leadership sessions. Previous attendees have seen their game improve dramatically, with the benefits extending to other areas of their lives:

DraftStar is run by ex-Hawks player Ben Dixon and current Melbourne player, Robbie Campbell.
DraftStar is a training program for young footballers aged 11 - 17 years.
DraftStar football training camps provide exposure to an elite sporting experience, replicating the activities conducted at the AFL Combine for potential draftees.
DraftStar employs highly qualified and experienced instructors, such as High performance Coach Mathew Pell, currently Cricket Victoria's Strength and Conditioning coach. And DraftStar coaches make use of the latest in high level fitness and testing equipment. But what really sets the DraftStar camps apart is their holistic approach to athlete education, with their strong focus on a healthy lifestyle, positive character development and strong community attitudes. While providing a well-defined pathway for potential AFL draftees, DraftStar invites highly motivated players of any level to attend the camps.
