Whether you are interested in kids character development (confidence, self-control, self-discipline, social skills), adults fitness, self-defence, competitive sparring, a healthier lifestyle or simply have a passion for Martial Arts, BBMA Kincumber has a program to suit you. We welcome students of all ages and any fitness level into our many diverse styles and programs.
Shotokan Karate is one of the original Japanese Karate styles, however we take a more modern approach to the running of our classes and include practical self defence based drills and scenario's as well as AKF competition style sparring techniques.
We are firm believers in Bushido and encourage the twelve principles of Martial Arts: Courtesy, Honesty, Respect, Self-Descipline, Self-Control, Kindness, Loyalty, Humility, Gratitude, Contribution, Courage & Indomitable Spirit.
Using the main foundations of Muay Thai: footwork, basic punches, elbows, knees and kicks our Kickboxing program targets the cardiovascular system and will dramatically increase, strength and fitness from your very first class. For those after a more intense Martial Art and want to see immediate results, Kickboxing is open for ages 14+
As an affiliate of Matayoshi Kubudo Australia, our Kobudo program teaches the ways of traditional Okinawan Weaponry. This program can be taught as an extension of Karate or as a style in itself. You will learn the art of Sai, Bo and Kama before moving onto more intricate weapons such as Nunchaku, Eku & Tonfa. (more)
