About
South Coast Swimming Club offers a structure that encourages involvement of its members at many different levels. The Club attempts to provide an atmosphere in which discipline, fun and training combine to produce the best outcome for all and promotes a good family atmosphere where new members are most welcome.
South Coast is the only Southern Metropolitan Club with the advantage of a single training centre for both 25m and 50m training sessions all year round, plus a fully equipped Gym, Sauna and a Spa. South Coast is a strong Club that considers high moral and ethical standards in sport a high priority.
South Coast Swimming Club has had a proud and successful history, with swimmers competing successfully at State and National Events and strives to continue this tradition. The Club has had representation at the Commonwealth Games Trials and at the Australian Championships/World Championships Trials and the Australian Championships/Olympic Trials. (more)
Specialties
Our Head Coach (Paul Higgs) has over 25 years experience training athletes to both State and National standards at Age and Open levels in both Pool Competition and Surf Lifesaving. Paul is also one of the few Coaches within South Australian swimming clubs willing to train both Pool and Surf Lifesaving swimmers at the same time, to the same high standards.
