The Ohana classes are soulful, playful and creative in order to enable you to uncover, explore and celebrate each person's beauty and greatness.
The class on a Thursday evening will take you deeper into your practice by allowing you time to stay within the postures for a longer period of time. The benefits of each posture are greatly enhanced as you learn how to breath more deeply and work with nurturing your systems and glands, aiding to balance your nervous system and helping your mind to be more clear and calm.
Vinyasa Flow is a challenging and inspiring yoga practice. The main characteristic is that it provides practitioners with challenging sequences of postures that help strength, tone and increase muscle flexibility. You conclude the class with calming and restorative postures that lead you into a deep relaxation. So the total program helps you to feel invigorated, yet relaxed and renewed.
Yin Yoga is an inwardly drawn practice of long-held seated and reclining poses. Creating an opportunity to balance our predominantly outward-focused attention with gentle, compassionate inquiry into what we find in our bodies, minds, and hearts. Physically, this practice stimulates our connective tissues (ligaments, fascia and soft tissue) which creates more flexibility in our actual joints as opposed to muscles. Energetically, we are stimulating meridian systems through which chi (prana) flows. Emotionally, we are training an ability to stay with our experience as it is.
Mum's & Bubs Yoga - Practice playful bonding yoga with your baby while working on toning and strengthening your post partum body, nurturing your mind, body and soul through yoga.
Pilates encourages you to think about how you perform everyday movements. It heightens your body awareness which in turn improves your overall agility, flexibility and strength.
Meditation takes us to the source of happiness, which is to be found in our own peace of mind. When we can meditate with a still mind, we will discover an unexpected source of happiness within our own self.
Tibetan Singing Bowl Meditation - Sound healing is an effective and proven modality that uses vibrational sound to help reduce stress, alter consciousness and create a deep sense of peace, well being and better health. The meditation has a different theme each week and is greatly enhanced by the Tibetan Singing Bowls. (more)
