Thermoseal Double Glazing produce and install beautiful windows and doors in South Australia. We've tried to keep things simple by including many of the features our competitors only offer as optional extras. This enables us to maximise our economies of scale so we can offer you windows of a higher specification at comparable prices to inferior competitors.
So what do we mean by higher specification and optional extras included?
Well, lets first look at the frame. Our PVC window profiles are made in Germany by the largest PVC extrusion manufacturer in the world. The extrusion process includes the most powerful UV inhibitor ingredients ensuring our windows frames are able to withstand the harsh South Australian sun. Every PVC profile has an integral steel frame for additional strength and rigidity. Finally if you live in a bushfire area you may be surprised to learn that PVC is an inherently fire resistant plastic.
Even more technology is integrated within the glass. In terms of construction we use 5mm panes which are almost double the thickness of single glazed window panes and so reduce low frequency noise and vibrations. Two 5mm panes are bonded together with a gap which is filled with inert Argon gas. Why Argon? Because it is 33% less thermally conductive than air which is standard in most double glazed windows. We only use low emissive glass also know as low-e glass. Low-e glass is optically clear so allows 100% of visible light yet reflects up to 70% of thermal energy or heat.
Although we recommend uPVC windows for their significant thermal insulation benefits compared to metal we do of course include aluminium double glazed products in our range.
All our doors and windows are available in familiar opening styles; casement, French, sliding, awning, bi-fold and the European favourite tilt & turn.
We are a proudly family owned business committed to providing the highest quality products at best value for money to South Aussies. Double glazing is perfect for all projects including new builds, renovations, extensions and replacement windows. The process is simple and with minimal disruption. Start by contacting Thermoseal Double Glazing for a free no obligation survey and quote. Manufacturing takes 3-4 weeks and then it's time to book an installation date. The installation of your energy efficient new windows generally takes no more than 3-4 days. When we've completed the job we guarantee to clean up and dispose of all rubbish including your old windows.
