LOCATED ON THE MAIN ROAD OF TARLEE 1 HOUR NORTH OF ADELAIDE AS YOU HEAD UP TO THE CLARE VALLEY WINE REGION. STOP AND BROUSE PICK UP YOUR TOURIST BROCHURE, MAYBE EVEN A PICNIC BASKET FOR YOUR ADVENTURE INTO THE WINE REGION
THE BUILDING ITSELF WAS GIVEN THE NAME GRASSHOPPER ROADHOUSE AFTER AN ENGLISHMAN WHO OWNED THE BUILDING - NAMED IT AFTER AN INN IN KENT UK. WE ARE RELIABLY INFORMED THE PLACE HERE RESEMBLES ITS NAMESAKE ONLY THAT THE ENGLISH INN IS OLDER. THE BUILDING IS VERY UNIQUE & ACTRACTS TOURIST FROM ALL OVER. PURCHASED BY DARREN & TRUDIE HILL IN 2007 THEY LOOK OVER THE RUNNING OF THE BUSINESS IN APRIL 2008 AND HAVE ALOT OF RENOVATIONS TO DO & AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE CHALLENGE. (more)
