After analysing your home?s feng shui chart (using traditional Chinese methods), Jenny will pinpoint auspicious and problematic areas. An inviting entrance is said to attract luck and prosperity - broken steps, poor lighting and overgrown plants can all hinder the flow of finances - so Jenny's consultation starts as she walks through the front gate.

Sleep & study

As sleep is a big issue for most families, bedrooms are a particular focus. Insomnia and unsettled sleep can be exacerbated by many factors, including a bed's position, windows, antique furniture, air quality and electromagnetic fields (these are checked with a gauss meter). Optimum sleep and study directions, found after calculating personal 'ming gua' numbers, are also considered.

Health & relationships

Sometimes a bedroom falls within two feng shui sectors; one part may be wonderfully supportive, while the other may place a strain on health and relationships. If a couple find themselves arguing more in a new home or if their health has deteriorated, simply shifting the bed can often improve the situation.

Family harmony

A home's living areas are no less important, as they influence harmony, communication and family relationships. Jenny assesses room layouts, furniture and colour schemes (some hues are more supportive than others) and advises on ways to reduce chemicals and hazards within your home.

Jenny's fascination with the mystical world runs parallel to her passion for colour and design. She has worked extensively as a graphic designer, stylist and astrologer, and writes star signs for magazines including Woman's Day.

Feng shui brings Jenny's interests into perfect harmony. Her formal qualifications were gained through ACES, Australia's only accredited feng shui and environmental studies college.
