Rima draws on traditional eastern medicine to understand patterns of health disorder in the whole person, including physical and emotional aspects of diagnosis. Ongoing studies in Japanese acupuncture strategies have invigorated her work.

Treatment utilises gentle acupuncture to increase energy, alleviate pain and support optimal function of the organ and channel systems of the body. Chinese herbal medicine, cupping and moxibustion may also be used.
