Caravans Plus

About

We (the Smith family) have been into caravans for a long time.

When people began buying things on the internet (2003) "CaravansPlus" was launched by myself (Peter) and my wife Judy.

We started it as a side business. Our bread and butter was renting out and repairing caravans. We had over 60 of them at once.

We started "ACT Caravan Hire" in 1984 and whilst the 25+ years had been fun (except for the endless cleaning), our side business "CaravansPlus" was quickly taking over.

In 2009 we needed to move into a much larger warehouse and we stopped renting out caravans. The business has kept growing and we now have 5 staff and thousands of products on our shelves.

In 2008 our son Steven joined the business and now he and his wife Nicole are co-owners with us.
