Jim Chaillon's Auto Service

About

Jim Chaillon's Auto Service was established in 1968 by Jim Chaillon to service the growing Townsville population and surrounding areas. Some five decades on, the business thrives as a result of its commitment to provide quality workmanship and genuine customer service. A locally owned and operated family business, Jim Chaillon's Auto Service operates from 25 Casey Street, Aitkenvale.

Owner/Manager and A-grade mechanic, Glenn (Jim's son), along with office manager Teresa, now operate the business with the same high quality and attention to detail that the business is renowned for. In fact, the business is still on the same site where Jim first opened his workshop doors.

With the long-serving staff, Glenn and his team guarantee the reliable repair and maintenance of vehicles to the highest standard. Senior mechanic Terry Smith has been loyal to the business since 1976. Having served his apprenticeship under Jim, Terry is skilled in carburettor overhauls, repairs and wheel alignments. Terry enjoys working on classic vehicles.
