Vicki Chatfield is the Founder and Director of Objective Perceptions a company which provides customer perception (mystery shopping) surveys in the hospitality and tourism sector in Australia.

In her 25 years working in the hospitality industry Vicki has gained valuable insights into how successful businesses thrive and the fundamental problems that recur for hospitality operators.

Vickiâ€TMs detailed understanding of the needs of hospitality enterprises has enabled her to create a proprietary customer feedback forum which small business can leverage for business growth. Her personal connections with leaders in the restaurant business and broad understanding of how consumer spending and opinions can fluctuate have enabled her to build a solid, reliable, accurate and loyal team of independent, pre-qualified reviewers around the country to undertake the surveys established for her clients at Objective Perceptions.

Vicki launched Objective Perceptions in July 2009 with acclaimed entrepreneur and chef Andrew McConnellâ€TMs Cutler & Co. and Cumulus Inc. as her anchor clients. McConnell has long understood the value of client perceptions. At the same time as kicking off her new venture Vicki also accepted a role as Andrewâ€TMs PA and office manager and worked with him for just on 3 years.

Vicki developed the parameters for the survey program modelled upon the Mystery Shopping program she executed while working as Operations Manager for Eldred Hospitality. She worked for Eldred for 6 years. He has always been a mentor for Vicki and encouraged her to re-launch the Mystery Shopping business and take a fresh approach.

Vicki was the owner and operator of Epicure catering in the 80â€TMs and following the sale of the business continued to cater until the mid 90â€TMs.
