Low Impact Development (LID) Consulting are building, infrastructure and community sustainability and waste consultants.

We help architects, town planners and developers to ensure their projects stand out more and perform better while meeting compliance or best practice sustainability and liveability outcomes.

We also help organisations lift their sustainability performance by recognising what they do well and identifying where there are opportunities for improvement.

In more detail:

- We focus on the potential or existing energy, water and waste consumption in your development or organisation to reduce these and bring about savings.

- We look at your building or organisation and potential or actual occupant behaviour patterns, the site, and access to the site.

- We also focus on improving occupant/team comfort and health, reduced impact material selection, optimising ecology, micro-climate impacts, resilience and simple measures to build community.

- We can introduce new materials options and technologies to further enhance sustainability.

- Because sustainability is our sole focus we are aware of the many opportunities and it is our role to explain and validate these opportunities.

- We typically work on developments above the single house size ie multi-dwelling developments and non-residential buildings or organisations.
