About

THE health industry is a great option for those seeking a career or wanting a career change because, with Australia's increasing population, the need for more healthcare facilities is growing continually.

Medical Administration Training operations manager Thomas Jithin says a career as a medical receptionist or aged care carer gives people a secure job with lots of room for career growth.

"However, when considering training, people need to ensure this training will lead to a job that will be secure even in tough economic times," Jithin says.

"They should also check whether the industry offers a good career path."

Jithin says Medical Administration Training is a leading trainer within the medical and health services industry.

It offers medical reception courses plus dual qualifications in aged care, certificate in business administration medical, front line management, health administration and health supervision.

Medical Administration Training Director Mrs Ann McFillin says "Our focus is to provide great quality, affordable training in the medical and health-related industry, with students supported during the length of their course,"

"Our trainers and assessors are also leaders in their field and currently work in the industry.

This ensures students receive the most up-to-date information which is relevant to their workplace and is also consistent with MAT?s motto 'Become job ready'."

Jithin says MAT students have access to face-to-face training at a number of venues around Australia or they can choose the study-at-home option.

"All students receive ongoing telephone and email support from experienced staff to ensure they remain focused and motivated to achieve their qualification," he says.

"Interest-free payment plans are available for all courses and some state government funding is also available to eligible students."
