Novix Systems Pty Ltd

About

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Novix Systems was originally started in early 1996 and became an incorporated company later in 1996. The name of the company was derived from the need to have an "X" in the name to use in the logo as one of the original partners was an X-files fan and an "X" made a different look for the 1 inch resin badges that all PCs had on the front at the time. So we took two of the major operating systems in use at the time - Novell and Unix and made "Novix" with the original logo featuring small lettering with a Large X on the end.

Way back in 1996 you could buy a really nice Pentium PC running the new geewiz Windows 95 for a measly $2000 - and we still have the first PC we sold which was traded in still working nearly 10 years after it was sold.
