WebGenie Software Pty Ltd

About

Perl has been the main programming language for web applications since the 90's. Most sites that had a web presence since the 90's and early 2000's would be using Perl in some form or other. Understanding some of these legacy systems requires a thorough knowledge of the Perl language. When replacing all old programs with new is not a viable option, a business must have a knowledgeable Perl programmer in the team. There is no business sense in hiring someone just for the purpose of maintaining legacy software.

In addition to Perl, we provide support in all web languages such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML, etc. We will also regularly monitor the performance of the applications to avoid unexpected issues and, after discussing with you first, fix them.

WebGenie Software have been creators of Perl-based software/services since 1995. Among the many leading commercially successful services of WebGenie were the first commercial shopping cart software, the second pay-per-click search engine, advertisement tracking, email anti-spam software, AI-based data analysis and many more. Using our years of accumulated knowledge and code base we can provide Perl programming support to businesses and developers alike.

Experience from more than 20 years of working with small and medium businesses is behind this service. We understand the needs and constraints of such businesses and can provide appropriate and prompt support.
