Canberra NatureArt Lab

About

This unique four-week program is for young people who are interested in learning more about nature and art. Participants will learn new techniques for drawing and observation and develop creative use of materials while exploring our environment. With real skulls and natural history objects, you'll learn how to accurately capture shapes using light and shadow. You'll come face to face with live spiders, learn about their body structure and web building through observational drawing techniques. Native frogs will serve as inspiration to play with colour, pattern and movement, and found objects from local bushland will be the basis for studies in detail and scale.
