About

We provide short audio courses of 12 and 18 week duration, with some topics being provided on a One-to-One basis, to anyone wishing to expand their knowledge in:

microphone techniques,

sound design,

special effects,

equalisers

compressor & limiters

mixing, and much more importantly the whole analogue/digital recording process. You don't have to have a university degree, just a love for creating sounds into songs.

Our 12 week course is designed to give students the required knowledge in sound production, mixing and using effects, with emphasis on home and studio recording.

The 18 week course extends the 12 week program by including the production of music and the recording and mixing of various styles of bands. Students cover all aspects of the recording process, which includes, acoustics, microphones, digital & analogue effects, mixing and much more.

Each course incorporates 6 hours a week of lectures and practical workshops, whereby students will be applying practical hands-on processes on what they have learnt.

All courses are conducted through our commercial recording facility at Blacktown, Sydney.
