Upside Clown Drama offers a fun, exciting and unique drama program that aims to provide our students with the opportunity to develop their performance and communication skills.

Your child will build self-confidence, be a part of an inclusive and creative group focussing on team interaction, play-building and the importance of fun and play in theatre (and in life)!

Upside Clown Drama caters for children who are wanting to pursue their great love for performing, as well as those wanting to try something different, build confidence or just make some new friends! Students will be introduced to improvisation, character building, clowning, mask, poetry, music, duologues, story-telling and script work. Your child will have the opportunity to present individually as well as working with the rest of the class to tell their own stories, create theatre pieces and discover what it is that makes them special.

In Term 4, we will be tailoring each class to suit the age group and individual students. There will be a focus on improvisation, story-telling, character building and game. At the end of term, parents will be invited to an open class to have a peak at what we’ve been up to!
