Every class at action drama studio has a teacher and a teacher assistant who both have qualifications and experience in education and/or professional acting.

Qualified and highly experienced Drama teachers with professional acting backgrounds.

Curriculum based on current research in Drama, Teaching and Learning.

Carefully designed curriculum to meet the needs of all students.

Whole class, small group work and individual training ensures students develop personal and collaborative skills.

Classes are fast-paced and fun.

Feedback is given focusing on the positive and every person is treated as special.

Students never repeat any lesson.

Confidence building exercises, public speaking, role-play for social skills.

Speech, movement, acting skills for Film, TV and Theatre.

Parent display night mid-year.

Concert end of year.

Reward System including badges, stickers, stamps, ribbons, certificates, and plaques.

No auditions required and trial classes available.

Senior Primary classes are for Grades 3-4 (ages 8-11). The whole range of skills are taught with extra focus on healthy self esteem, communication, voice, acting techniques and skills.

Young Youth Acting Classes are for Grades 5-7 (ages 10- 13). Young youth classes cover the whole range of acting skills with extra focus on confidence for career, acting skills for Film, TV and Theatre, finding own acting style and creating own performances.

Senior Youth classes are for Grades 8-12 (ages 14-17): Senior Youth classes cover the whole range of acting skills with extra focus on Film, TV and Theatre skills, auditioning techniques, career advice, interview techniques, collaborative writing and directing of own plays. The content of plays and scripts is for mature students.

Young Adult classes are for ages 17-24. This class is suitable for young adults of all abilities.

Young Youth (drama) 5:00pm-6:30pm

Advanced Young Youth (drama) 6:30-8:00pm (Previous Experience Required)

Tuesday:

Acting for Stage and Screen (Adult) 7:00-8:30pm

Wednesday:

Senior Primary and Young Youth (Acting for Screen) 5:00-6:30pm

Advanced Senior Youth & Adult (Acting for Screen) 7:00-9:00pm (Previous Experience Required)

Thursday:

Advanced Young Adult (drama) 7:00-9:00pm (Previous Experience Required)

Saturday:

Advanced Senior Youth (drama) 10:30-12:30pm (Previous Experience Required)
