Atelier Melbourne - is fashion and design studio in the heart of Brighton Victoria. We cater for small groups or individuals that are new to sewing and wanting to learn to sew and advanced sewers that would like to formalise their knowledge and skills. Our studio is well equipped with industrial and domestic sewing machines, overlockers, light boxes, pattern making tables, and all the tools required to design and create that special garment. Atelier's studio and Bespoke tailoring, where our designers design and create that special dress for that special occasion. We create patterns for each and every one of our clients. Each of our clients has their own pattern block developed from their measurements. Our studio window displays some of our own 'Atelier Melbourne's beautiful designs. These are designs by our own designers and made right here in Melbourne at the Atelier studio. Atelier studio is also a learning environment and we offer courses and workshops in fashion design, and garment construction. Our other workshops are in corsetry design and construction, Fascinators for that special occasion, drapery, and pattern making as well as garment construction. Atelier Melbourne offers basic and advanced certificate courses with small classes that are held at our studio. The basic classes are in operating machinery such as, sewing machines, button-hole, cuff, overlockers and more. Other basic courses are in garment component construction and basic pattern making. Advanced classes are in more complex garment construction, applying embellishments to garments, colour theory, design theory, history of garments.
