About Smartair

Renowned for its creative recreational charter flights to 'hard to reach' areas of Australia, Smartair owns and operates a fleet of aircraft, as well as maintaining, housing and operating aircraft owned by local businesses with long distance travel requirements.

Now a major player in the NSW regional aviation market, Smartair has charter operations, aircraft maintenance facilities and flying training schools in both Albury and Bathurst. It has the capability to design, build and install special modifications to aircraft.

At Smartair's head office and maintenance hangars in Albury, NSW experienced aircraft engineers Pieter Mol and Terry Curtain work on special upgrades for the Rockwell 114 Commander. This upgrade really 'soups-up' the single-engine aircraft, in what might be considered the aviation equivalent of a performance AMC Mercedes.

Smartair has been owned and operated by the same family since its inception in 1968 and has a solid history of stable management and steady progress.
