Health and Safety Representative - 5 Day Course.

A five-day initial HSR training course is now available for newly elected HSRs who have not previously completed the older four-day WorkCover course in OHS Consultation.

Health and safety representatives (HSRs) need relevant knowledge and skills to enable them to exercise their powers for the purpose of promoting and ensuring the health and safety of members of designated work groups. HSRs are able to obtain such knowledge and skills through attendance at HSR training courses accredited by WorkCover NSW.

This five day course may be run 1 day per week for five weeks, or broken up to suit your needs.

The course does not have to run five days in a row, and the courses may be conducted at your site or one of our training locations.

Health and Safety Representative - 1 Day Refresher Course.

To exercise these powers as an approved WorkCover NSW (Safe Work Australia) Health and Safety Representative, each rep is entitled to complete a yearly refresher training course. A pre-requisite for any HSR wishing to undertake the refresher course must have completed the initial 5 day course.
