About
Welcome to Carnegie 3 Year Old Activity Group offering a nurturing and stimulating program specifically tailored for 3 years old.
This group compliments local kindergarten programs and provides a caring and secure environment for children to learn and develop through play.
Carnegie 3 Year Old Activity Group is a not for profit organisation run by a committee of volunteer parents. We offer the opportunity for children to play and learn in a semi-structured, kinder-like environment with a fully qualified Group Leader.
The group is open to children who turn three by April 30 in the year of attendance. A parent or caregiver must attend the sessions until the child has turned three at which time the child can attend the sessions independently.
Parents are also rostered on to attend the sessions a couple of times each term to assist the Group Leader with the running of the group and to adhere to the strict adult child ratios required by Playgroup Victoria's Rostered Playgroup Guidelines (by which we are registered).
The Group operates each Tuesday during the school terms and offers a morning and afternoon session of 2.5 hours each.

Carnegie 3 Year Old Activity Group offers two session times every Tuesday during School Terms:

Carnegie 3 Year Old Activity Group operates under the umbrella of Carnegie Playgroup in the Carnegie Children's Multipurpose Building located at Shepparson Ave, Carnegie (next to the Carnegie Library).
The facility provides spaces for both indoor and outdoor play in a secure environment and with shade cloth in the outdoor area. The resources include a large variety of outdoor play equipment that is shared with the Playgroup and this equipment is supplemented with purchases made specifically for the 3 Year Old Activity Group.
We rely heavily on the support of parents to contribute their time in committee roles, to help staff the sessions and also in the form of fundraising throughout the year.
