About

With over 20 years of international teaching and performance experience, Carl Schmidt follows on from a pedigree of teachers that can be linked back to the great masters of the piano repertoire.

As an AMEB piano examiner, Carl is able to offer students comprehensive and informed exam preparation that is tailored to each student in order to maximise their results.

Students of Carl enjoy regular success in examinations and competitions and have been recipients of various scholarships. Some have also gone on to become professional musicians themselves.

Whether working towards an exam, concert performance or simply learning for pleasure, the Central Coast Piano Studio can accommodate all student needs at the highest level.

Students benefit not only from the many Historical Performances that are made available on the Yamaha C7 Disklavier Piano, but also from hearing and seeing their own playing re-performed by the piano.
