BOP Performing Arts

About

I teach a range of musical styles from Musical Theatre, pop, rock, country, Soul, R&B & Dance. It depends on the students age and their goals as to what lesson plans are focussed on. They are very much tailored to the individual.

I usually teach half hour private lessons to students from 7 - 17 years of age. The cost is $32 for half an hour.

Lesson consist of vocal warm up exercises, vocal technique, ear training and interval work for relative pitch, rhythm exercises, basic music theory and acting methods applied to song performance.

My focus is on improving individuals understanding their voice and vocal performance.

I have had many years performing experience in the corporate industry from singing on television to singing the National Anthem at the State of Origin. I have also been mentored by some of Australia's greatest talents including the Late Bobby Limb, as well as working overseas in musical theatre and production shows.

My training is more musical theatre and performance based; scholarships at N.I.D.A., A.C.E & the NSW Talent Development Project.
