Natasha Ivanovic: Mordialloc

About

Hello,

My name is Natasha, and I have been actively teaching violin and viola to students across all ages and levels of experience for the past 7 years, and currently teach at two Melbourne schools. I myself have been playing for 17 years, completing my Associate of Music Australia (A.Mus.A) on Violin in 2007 and my degree (Bachelor of Popular Music) in 2013. My students consistently achieve great results in AMEB exams (an average grade of honours), and continue to meet and exceed their own personal goals.

Whether you are a beginner looking to take up your first instrument or an advanced player pursuing a career as a violinist, I will individually tailor your lessons to ensure they are beneficial, valuable and most importantly – fun! I primarily teach classical (as it is the foundation of all other styles), but have also ventured into other styles including jazz, celtic, folk, gypsy, pop, dubstep… you name it! Virtually anything except bluegrass. So for intermediate – advanced players I am happy to explore other styles with you, in addition to your classical training. I can also incorporate music theory into lessons for those studying exams, in 45min or 1hr lessons.

I am always excited to take on new students, so please feel free to email or call me with any questions!

I look forward to learning together in the near future.
