Little Stars Private Pre-School teaches school readiness classes to children aged 3-6 years based on the Begin Bright program, which is designed especially to encourage a positive beginning to learning.

Classes cover all educational aspects to ensure children have a sound basis in number recognition, letter sounds, handwriting and fine motor skills prior to starting formal schooling. Classes also expose children to a group learning environment where children learn social skills and appropriate behaviours for a classroom situation. Our classes are especially useful for children who have not had the opportunity to experience structured programs such as day-care or kindergarten or other group programs which they attend without their primary care-giver.

All classes are taught by a qualified teacher. Children attend once a week for one hour. Small classes (maximum of 8 per class) allow the teacher to work individually with each child and also foster social skills as children gain confidence and make new friends.
