Gemstar Academy of Voice & Music

About

There are many music/performance schools that have an umbrella of various classes provided - whether it be vocal, dance, guitar, drums, bass etc, never specialising in one, but rather having a broad range so that students are able to dabble in many areas. But at Gemstar Academy we pride ourselves on specialising in one instrument - The Voice.

We focus on vocal technique utilising a recording studio environment, and then compliment these skills with performance coaching and songwriting workshops to encourage a holistic approach to becoming a dynamic vocal artist.

An experienced Vocalist and Entertainer with several Top 30 hits, Director and Singing Teacher – Gemma Luxton is well known for her ability to entertain big crowds and time spent in the recording studio.

Now passing on her extensive experience and knowledge to the students at Gemstar Academy of Voice & Music, Gemma works with all styles of music, utilising various specialised vocal techniques in a way that puts the ‘fun’ back in vocal lessons, as well as working on tone, pitch and your own unique style in a professional recording studio environment.

Why is Gemstar Academy different? We also put you in the sight line of a variety of representatives who act as a talent scout for music industry members with the best audition, recording and performance opportunities.

Just check out our latest success story with 8 year old Dyani Magele, who recently went viral on Facebook with her new original single – “LOUD”.
