Sing

About

SING! is a new Brisbane based company owned and run by passionate singer, conductor and vocal educator Melissa Gill. Melissa has over 20 years experience performing in Australia and overseas, holds a B.A. Mus degree in Jazz and popular voice performance form QUT and a classical singing certificate from Trinity-Guildhall, London. Melissa has worked on stage, screen and in the studio for a variety of clients, events and occasions. Melissa is also a certified brain based coach and uses this skill to help her singers own their voices, cement their learning and make lasting connections about the art and technique of singing that will support their life-long musical journey.

Melissa is passionate about educating singers and vocal ensembles, uncovering natural voices and helping her students and choristers discover their true vocal ability and potential in a supportive and encouraging environment. Melissa believes that singing should always be FUN and empowering. If it isn't, you're not doing it right. Her priority immediately after fun is healthy technique which sets a voice up for years of doing what it was made to do.

Melissa teaches individual and group vocal lessons for all ages and in all styles, provides casual voice and performance coaching for singers who need a 'tweak' before a big event, runs a new community choir MUSICA based in Morningside and is available for team building events and workshops. With her private students and coaches Melissa takes a largely self-directed approach, which means that YOU choose the music, YOU set the goals and she provides the expertise and technique. If you're not sure about anything except you want to discover your voice, then we can help you choose music and set goals to support your discovery and development.

Melissa's passion is making great music accessible to everyone and helping people discover themselves musically. Call her and set up a time for a FREE lesson or chat with her about your community or musical event.
