Nepean Tutoring

About

Nepean Tutoring is a boutique tutoring business that delivers a reliable and quality service at your home. We tutor students from Kindergarten to tertiary level subjects. All tutors are either qualified teachers or experienced tutors in their fields of expertise.

We also offer a multidisciplinary approach where one tutor can teach in a variety of key learning areas in the one visit.

Nepean tutoring uses a variety of assessment tools to tailor learning programs to the individual needs of students. We target particular weaknesses, one at a time, so students are confident with learned concepts before proceeding too far ahead. This is where we bridge the gap between school and our tutoring service.

We tutor in Primary and Secondary English and Mathematics to HSC level. Other specialty subjects are available on request.

One of our specialty services is essay writing techniques where we will assist clients to understand the process of essay writing, how to analyse a given question, and how to structure a cohesive argument which relates to the question. We can almost guarantee a shift in your grades if you follow our essay writing formula.

Another specialty is "study skills for success". Here we will look at your academic schedule and assist you to see the big picture. Our aim is to alleviate last minute cramming that does nothing but create mediocre results. We also assist clients to organise their assignment schedule to eliminate stress and a result that does not reflect the their potential.

Our overall aim is to develop the thinking and analytical skills necessary for the modern demands of the education system. To this end, we work toward students becoming critical and analytical learners who are able to tackle their studies more independently.
