The Begin Bright Programs are based on the Australian National Curriculum, covering all aspect of literacy and numeracy in a fun and an exciting way. We ensure that children enjoy learning to read and count, to create a lifelong love of learning. For primary aged children, we use concrete materials and supportive games to keep them interested and appeal to different learning styles.

Here at Begin Bright, we design all our worksheets, storybooks, and resources to ensure everything is up to our standard. We have designed a complete curriculum for children from 2 to 12 years old. This ensures that we complement what children are learning at school and give them the best possible chance to excel.

School Readiness - Is your child ready for school Program is for 2-6 years old:

Attending a one hour a class each week, Begin Bright children make the transition to school with confidence, already having experienced a classroom-like environment.

Each week our Begin Bright centres introduce a letter and number concept with a fun associated craft activity, incorporating story-telling and music into our small group lessons. Our pre-Kindergarten and pre-Prep programs also teach children independence and how to care for their belongings - each child is given their own bag, workbook and pencil that they will use each week in class.

Primary Tutoring:

Whether your child is looking to improve or extend themselves in literacy and numeracy comprehension, we believe every child should reach their potential.

Begin Bright can help any student in primary school from the very early stages of literacy through to textual analysis and confidently expressing their views in their writing. Similarly Begin Bright can help your child in their mathematics development journey from telling the time through to advanced multiplication scenarios.

When a child starts tutoring at Begin Bright, they complete a values survey, so that we can discover what makes them tick, what they enjoy, and what they don't. This allows us to help each child based on their values and offer exercises that are appropriate and engaging for them.
