About

Learn in a way that suits you! At Grace Simpkins Personal Tutors offer one-on-one and group tuition for Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Business and Languages for all ages, levels and backgrounds.

Tuition in our custom designed centre in Paddington, QLD is a smart choice. We are positioned just out of the city in close proximity to Roma Street, Suncorp Stadium, the main universities and city based schools. However, access is still easy with 7 dedicated undercover car parks and a drop-off zone right outside our door!

Tutoring in our centre has the following advantages:

• The best tutors and timeslots are available and not limited by your location

• No guardian is required, just drop off and pick up or stay and have a coffee

• We have 8 one-on-one tutorial rooms custom-designed for best study conditions and there are no distractions

• We have a 9 seat classroom and run additional programs regularly to supplement study, e.g. math problem solving classes, homework group and GAMSAT sessions

• Textbooks, worksheets and activities are available for all year levels

• English and Mathematics assessments are offered for years 1 to 10

Tutoring is not just about the transference of knowledge but rather about developing a rapport with the student and finding the best possible method to develop their understanding. We strongly believe that students learn in different ways and that the classroom environment is not always sufficient for effective understanding. This leads to the see, listen and do form of education, or officially, combining auditory, visual and kinesthetic elements to the tutorial sessions. Therefore, it's important when starting tuition to not just have a smart tutor but also have a tutor you can communicate with. Our tutors are both!
