The WSET Level 1 Award in Wines prepares students for an entry-level job in hospitality or retail. The program delivers the basic product knowledge and skills required in the service and retail of wine. The program is also an excellent introduction for the wine enthusiast who wants to learn more about wine styles, storage, service, and unlock the secret to matching the perfect wine with food. Confidently order wine from a restaurant wine list that will pair perfectly with your meal. Examination consists of a closed book examination consisting of a multiple choice paper of 30 questions.

The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits explores the wines and spirits of the world and includes a wine tasting in each class. The program has been designed to provide vocational training in product knowledge for those employed in the drinks industry with little knowledge of the broad range of international alcoholic beverages. It is ideal for those seeking a good level of product knowledge, job skills and competencies in handling international wines and spirits. The program is also appropriate for those not employed in the drinks industry but who wish to expand their knowledge of international wine and spirits. Examination consists of a closed book examination consisting of 50 multiple choice questions.

Advanced Certificate Wines and Spirits provides in-depth knowledge of a wide range of wines and spirits. This course is open to students who hold the WSET Level 2 Intermediate Certificate in Wines and Spirits or can demonstrate knowledge at intermediate level through completion of equivalent courses or sufficient wine trade experience. Examination consists of a closed book examination consisting of 50 multiple choice questions, as well as a blind tasting of two wines. The practical tasting examination is to be completed in 30 minutes.
