About

Transport has always been a part of Rex Chapman's life. He has been involved directly as a local and long haul owner/driver and also as a small fleet operator for 30 years, and for 95 per cent of that time he was insured through NTI.

He knows and understands firsthand the issues and pressures that owners and operators face today. He also knows the value of having the right insurance.

Since 2006, Rex has been a Roadteam member and authorised representative of NTI. He spends his time listening to his customers, understanding their unique circumstances and helping them to find the right NTI product for them. He knows the importance of making himself available whenever he is needed and prides himself on his straight-talking, down-to-earth approach.

During his career, Rex has also spent time on the boards of the Queensland Trucking Association, the Australian Trucking Association and the Chartered Institute of Transport. His love of the industry is genuine and it’s been passed on to the next generation of Chapmans with Rex’s son now a driver for a major transport company after spending several years as an owner/driver.
