THE BONE CLINIC

The Bone Clinic is a new concept health service designed exclusively to fill a void in ongoing care to provide peace of mind for sufferers of osteoporosis and other bone conditions.

Current options for osteoporosis therapy are medications, calcium, vitamin D and exercise. Many people don’t want to take drugs or find them insufficient to control their bone loss. Few people understand the type of exercise required to safely treat osteoporosis, or the optimum diet for bone. At The Bone Clinic, our experts are dedicated to providing a comprehensive, supervised and monitored program to manage your bone health safely and effectively.

HOW WE CAN HELP YOU

Bone health requires ongoing care, so you need a team who can help you over the long term. At The Bone Clinic we approach this task scientifically, by gathering information about your bone mass, muscle strength, diet and many other characteristics that can increase your risk of osteoporotic fracture. We do this at your first visit, and repeat those measures periodically to monitor your response to our program. Meaning, your results are based on hard data using established research and clinical methods.

WHO ARE WE

The Bone Clinic is a new and innovative bone health practice in Coorparoo, serving people with bone-related conditions and in particular, osteoporosis. The practice is unique in that people with poor bone health can receive ongoing bone health advice and care, including a broad range of services, under the one roof.

OUR MISSION

We are here to challenge current attitudes and the state of play on the management of bone health and osteoporosis, to translate research evidence into effective clinical practice, and to give hope to people with osteoporosis who currently receive sub-optimal treatment.
