Dr Prem Saranathan

Dr Prem Saranathan has in excess of 15 years experience as a medical practitioner with greater than 10 years of this in all aspects of general practice, having worked within the Coburg area for the majority of this time.

Born in Sri Lanka and immigrating to Australia in 1988, Prem undertook medical studies at Monash University, completing in 1998. Having gained experience in a variety of medical and surgical disciplines as a junior doctor, as well as working in a variety of metropolitan and rural locations in Victoria, he commenced his general practice training in Coburg in 2001.

Having attained the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2005, he has continued to serve the Coburg community.
