Hearing Services
At NewSound Hearing Clinic we provide a range of hearing health services.
HEARING ASSESSMENT
Your initial consultation with the audiologist is the most important step of the whole hearing health process. Our professional and qualified approach will aim to assess your current hearing health and hearing needs in order to plan a personalised hearing rehabilitation program to improve you hearing to meet your satisfaction.
Following Consultation, a comprehensive hearing assessment, involving a series of hearing test in quiet and noise, will be conducted to obtain more information about your hearing ability. Once your hearing profile has been established, and if hearing loss is present, the next step (Rehabilitation) will be discussed with you.
We provide hearing assessment for a range of adult clients, such as Pensioners, Veterans, Non-pensioners, and Self-Funded Retirees.
HEARING AID CONSULTATION
This steps starts with you seeking a solution to alleviate your hearing difficulties. If you are experiencing hearing difficulties and the hearing assessment shows hearing loss in one or both ears then the audiologist will discuss a range of solutions with you. This process starts with the audiologist's recommendation and options that will be explained clearly to you. There are several different types of hearing aid manufacturer and numerous hearing aids in the market, which can easily be confusing to choose from. However, our audiologist who is well informed about all current hearing aid technology in the market, will assist you in making that important decision.
HEARING AID FITTING
Fitting of hearing aid is as important as obtaining accurate results from hearing assessment and choosing the most suitable hearing aids. In order to fit hearing aids, we use state-of-the art equipment to program the hearing aids to your hearing thresholds individually for each ears.
AFTERCARE SERVICES & SUPPORT
We want to make sure that our clients are looked after on a regular basis. A regular hearing assessment and hearing aid check will be scheduled for our clients in a timely manner to ensure that they are happy with the use of their hearing aids and its outcome.
HEARING AID REPAIR
We can provide a range of in-house minor hearing aid repair services to clients using all types of hearing aids. Alternatively, if the damage is major (requiring part replacement) then we can organise the repair with the hearing aid manufacturer either under warranty or outside warranty (cost would incur).
