History

Established in 2003.

Atlas Chiropractic is a state of the art chiropractic facility, with specialised equipment and a special focus on upper cervical chiropractic. That is, we have a special interest in the relationship of the atlas bone, on which the weight of the heavy head is perched, and the cervical spine that supports it. If the atlas is out of relationship to the head, very simply it means the head is not on straight.

Business Owner

Darren Scheuner D.C. is the principle chiropractor at Atlas Chiropractic. His interest in Chiropractic unknowingly started in his early years as an electrician. A surfing accident however, left him severely struggling with years of varying back, neck and health issues. After Darren was assisted by chiropractic care, he had the realisation the electrical wiring systems he worked on were much like the nervous system of the body. His path was now chosen, and after studying a health science degree, was accepted to study at the Prestigious Palmer Chiropractic College in The USA. Darren furthered his studies and becoming a Board Certification Atlas Orthogonist, has now been in practice for 9 years and is one of few Upper Cervical Chiropractors in Australia.
