Did you know that only a very few dental practices in Western Australia have obtained QIP accreditation? So what is accreditation of a dental practice and what does it mean for me I hear you say!

Currently, accreditation is voluntary but the team at Dentists@Burswood eagerly seized the opportunity for the practice to become distinguished from others whilst also advancing systems of improvements in patient relations, updates to health and safety and legislative governance and to also to be accountable and self-reflective. All staff are constantly reviewing risk management strategies so that patients, staff, contractors, delivery personnel and other visitors may rest assured that their physical and mental well-being is uppermost during their visit. All staff follow strict protocols for patient identification and protection of private information. We ensure that each patient receives information about optimal treatment diagnosed by the dentist, all associated fees, any possible risks and preventative advice so that they can make informed decisions based upon that information.

Our dental team consists of Dr Hezel Cohen, Dr Justina Teo, Dr Maria Hui and Dr Rajaa Chiri and they would like to encourage you to attend to small issues before developing into any major concerns. At your initial treatment plan session we will discuss any findings with you and plan your treatment in short progressive stages to meet with your financial and family commitments. We are open 6 days a week and have payment plans to assist patient whether you have private health insurance or not. Ask about our affordable Dental Membership Plan commencing in 2015 giving you peace of mind dental treatment for the long term.

At every 6-monthly preventative care appointment we'll give you an oral hygiene kit to help maintain that beautiful new clean smile. It's our way of saying thank you.
