Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a manual therapy, which involves the treatment of joints, muscles, ligaments and all surrounding structures. We aim to increase the quality and range of movement in the body, so as to effect the muscular, circulatory and nervous systems which we need to maintain optimal health.

The osteopath utilises the most appropriate techniques for your condition. These include; soft tissue work, stretching, joint articulation, muscle energy and manipulation. Treatment is followed by the prescription of rehabilitative exercises, stretches, ergonomics, postural and nutritional advice, to ensure the problem is addressed thoroughly.

Osteopaths are government registered primary healthcare practitioners, so you don't need a referral to see us. Every effort is made to coordinate our treatment plan with that of the referring practitioner.

Osteopaths can aid in the treatment of:

* headaches/migraines
