The Melbourne Headache Centre uses techniques that allow the precise diagnosis of the underlying cause of many headaches and migraines.

By examining the upper cervical spine (top of the neck) we seek to temporarily reproduce the typical headpain of our clients. This confirms the spinal segment being stressed may be relevant to the condition. As we sustain the stretch we find that if the referred pain eases off (over 80% of cases) then we not only have a relevant segment, but also a very strong likelihood of success within 4-5 treatments.

We find this in 80% of clients. We don't treat the other 20%. We are not going to waste the time of clients who we can't demonstrate a direct connection between their usual and typical head-pain and their upper cervical spine.
