The Literacy and Learning Centre is a specialised service for children who have difficulties with reading, spelling, or learning.

Children who have difficulties with reading and spelling face underachievement at school & limited opportunities in later life. They may pay a high personal toll in terms of low self-esteem, & higher rates of anxiety or depression. Frustration can lead to acting out, misbehaviour, & tensions with parents. If problems are ongoing, parents & teachers face the frustration of knowing where to get help.

The Literacy and Learning Centre is a specialised service for these children.

A Clinical Psychologist assesses why children are having these problems & provides detailed recommendations for help that are tailored to your child's identified areas of strength & difficulty. Referral to our remedial tutoring service is also available. Support can also be provided to boost children's self-esteem & to teach strategies to manage anxiety.
