Apart from private practice in Hamilton, Heather Menzies also works as a psychologist with the cognitive behavioural therapy program at a Brisbane Psychiatric Hospital. She has previously been in a rural & remote psych with the Royal Flying Doctors service and delivered a sexual offenders rehabilitation program within a correctional facility / jail. PsychEquip accepts Mental Health Care Plan referrals via Medicare, private clients and can access HICAPS private health insurance online. After hours appointments are available. We have a particular interest in family counselling, attachment based therapy, teenage & family therapy and child behavioural issues. We also assist with depression, anxiety, sexuality and eating disorders.
