Principal counsellor, Deborah Schou, has many years experience as a clinical social worker in a range of hospital and community agencies. She is highly skilled as a grief counsellor and specialist relationship counsellor. Deborah has worked with parents of premature infants and children with complex medical conditions, and individuals dealing with chronic illness. She works wholistically, taking into account the impact of illness and life's events on the individual, and is trained in the latest evidence-based neuroscientific methods, such as EMDR and mindfullness techniques. Deborah has a genuine, caring approach, and offers her clients respect and choice in the counselling room.
