Applied Communication Skills (ACS) has provided speech pathology in Melbourne and Victoria for over twenty years, and specialises in providing practical assessment and treatment following acquired brain injuries. Our approach integrates evidence based practice into individually targeted programs. ACS works closely with a number of other highly respected Allied Health Practices to ensure that rehabilitation programs are consistent and implemented effectively.

Assessments are provided at our office or in the client's own home or workplace, and where possible, therapy is completed in the client's own environment. Integration into the community is undertaken by skill building and careful grading, in line with current recommendations for effective rehabilitation. As a private practice, our clients and families are managed as individuals and their participation and choices are encouraged throughout the therapy process.
